PM Vishwakarma Yojana
Scheme Name: Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana. This initiative is operated by the Government of India and offers various financial benefits. Individuals involved in 18 traditional trades can take advantage of this scheme. Participants receive training for several days, during which they earn Rs 500 daily. Additionally, once enrolled, beneficiaries receive Rs 15,000 to purchase a toolkit.
Once you enroll in the PM Kisan Yojana, you can also take advantage of a loan. Initially, you will receive a loan of Rs 1 lakh, with the possibility of an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh later on. These loans are offered to beneficiaries at reasonable interest rates and do not require any collateral.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
The scheme is open to various artisans and tradespeople, including locksmiths, boat builders, washermen, tailors, stone carvers, stone breakers, hammer and toolkit makers, goldsmiths, sculptors, masons, doll and toy makers, basket, mat, and broom makers, blacksmiths, barbers, weapon makers, garland makers, cobblers, shoe makers, and fishing net makers.
