New Delhi: Since the RBI reduced the repo rate, banks have also started reducing the interest rates on FDs. Now the country’s largest bank, PNB, has given a big shock to its crores of customers. Punjab National Bank has reduced the interest rates on FDs. PNB allows making FDs from 7 days to 10 years.

People here easily get massive incomes by investing. PNB is giving interest ranging from 4 percent to 7.60 percent to senior citizens. It has been decided that the new revised rates by PNB will be implemented on April 10, 2025. Customers will now see losses due to this.

How much interest on FD less than Rs 3 crore?

PNB has created different slabs to pay interest on FDs. On making FDs of 7 days to 14 days, the ordinary citizen will get 3.50 percent interest, while senior citizens will get 4 percent interest. On FDs of 15 to 29 days, ordinary citizens will get the benefit of 3.50% interest, and senior citizens will get 4% interest.

On FDs of 30 to 45 days, ordinary citizens will get 3.50% interest, and senior citizens will get 4% interest. On FDs of 46 to 60 days, ordinary people will get 4.50% interest, and senior citizens will get 5% interest. On FDs of 61 to 90 days, ordinary citizens will get 4.50% interest, and senior citizens will get 5% interest.

How much interest will be given for so many days?

For 91 to 179 days, ordinary citizens will benefit from 5.50% interest, and senior citizens will get 6% interest. For 180 to 270 days, ordinary people are given 6.25% interest, while senior citizens are given 6.75% interest.

On FDs of 271 to 279 days, 6.50% interest is given to ordinary citizens and 7% to senior citizens. On the other hand, for 300 days, 6.50% interest is being given to ordinary citizens and 7% interest is being given to senior citizens.
