PNB KYC Alert: Important information has come out for lakhs of account holders of Punjab National Bank (PNB). PNB has issued an alert to some of its customers to update KYC. The government bank has said that account holders who do not update KYC on time as per RBI guidelines, their accounts may be blocked. Therefore, to transact without any hassle, get KYC updated before the stipulated time.
For which account holders it is necessary to get KYC done
Punjab National Bank has said that this alert is for account holders whose KYC update has not been completed by 31 December 2024. If your account’s KYC update is pending, you must complete this process soon. Otherwise, transactions may be stopped.
Use only these methods to update KYC
PNB has given another important piece of advice to its customers. The bank has said that do not click on any suspicious link coming in the name of KYC update nor download any unknown file. PNB said customers should contact the branch or use only official channels to update KYC.

Update KYC from home using the PNB app
If you want to update KYC from home, you can do so through the PNB ONE app.
Step 1- Log in to the PNB ONE app.
Step 2-Check KYC status.
Step 3- If the KYC update is pending, click on Update KYC.
Step 4-Complete Aadhaar authentication through OTP.
How to update KYC offline
If you want to get your account KYC done offline, then for this you have to visit your nearest Punjab National Bank branch. Here you have to submit your identity proof, address proof, latest photo, PAN or Form 60, income proof, and mobile number. Please note that you can also send these documents through registered e-mail or post office.
