Free gas cylinder: Most of the population in our state resides in villages. Often you must have seen that stoves are used for cooking in the village. Women face a lot of trouble due to the smoke coming out of the stove. Due to this they also get many diseases. To get rid of all these problems, a special scheme has been started by the government for women. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Women are getting gas cylinder for free
Under this scheme, gas cylinders are made available to women for free. Usually the prices of gas cylinders are very high. It is very expensive, so it is not affordable for everyone. Keeping this in mind, a scheme has been started by the government for women of the poor class. Under this scheme, gas cylinders are made available to women for free.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was started by the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi ji on 1 May 2016. This scheme is being operated by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Eligibility required for Ujjwala Yojana
Only women can apply for Ujjwala Yojana.
The age of the applicant women must be at least 18 years.
The applicant must belong to a BPL family.
Women who already have an LPG connection will not be considered eligible for this scheme.
It is compulsory for the woman applying to have a bank account.

How to Apply
To apply for the Free Gas Cylinder Scheme, first of all you have to go to its official website.
On the home page, you have to click on Apply for New Ujjawala 2.0 Connection.
As soon as you click on it, three agencies Indane, Bharatgas and HP Gas will come in front of you.
Whichever company you want to get your gas connection, you have to select it.
After this, you will reach the official website of whichever company you have chosen.
Now you have to submit your form.
Now you will have the option to print the form.
Now you have to print this form, attach all the uploaded documents with this form and submit it to the agency.
After this, you will be provided a gas connection by the gas agency.
