Most of the 1 crore 7 lakh 54 thousand 362 ration card holders in Rajasthan are eagerly waiting to receive gas cylinders at subsidized rates. However, about 14.55 per cent of these consumers are facing challenges due to incomplete e-KYC. As a result, their ration benefits may be discontinued after November 30. Additionally, they may lose the opportunity to get LPG cylinders for just Rs 500.
The government has made it clear that consumers who fail to complete their e-KYC will not receive ration benefits. They will also have to purchase LPG cylinders at regular company rates. The state government had earlier announced subsidized LPG cylinders for poor families at Rs 500. To facilitate this, a dedicated portal has been developed, and the necessary data is currently being uploaded.
