A link is being sent to ration card holders in the name of online e-KYC, by clicking on which the fraudsters are emptying the account.

The process of e-KYC is free

Many such cases have also come to light where ration card dealers or agents are charging money from ration card holders in the name of e-KYC. They are being charged from Rs 10 to Rs 50. Such complaints are being received daily from many districts. How can you get e-KYC done

To get e-KYC done, first go to the nearest government ration shop in your area.

Verify your identity via fingerprint or OTP on the Point of Sale (POS) machine available here.

Next, submit an Aadhaar card, ration card, residence certificate, and passport-size photo.

Once all the documents and identity are verified, the e-KYC process will be completed.
