Loan: The objective of providing loans of Rs 5 lakh without collateral to one lakh young individuals is set to be accomplished by 31 March. To facilitate this, a fair will be held in each district from 25 to 27 March for loan distribution. This commitment was made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a loan and toolkit distribution event at the Autonomous State Medical College in Gonda on Thursday.

Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan

The Chief Minister noted that over three lakh youths have applied under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, with loans approved for more than 30 thousand applicants and over 17 thousand already disbursed. He emphasized the government’s aim to provide loans to one lakh youths annually to promote self-reliance among the younger population. He remarked that the potential of any state is reflected in the talent and vigor of its youth, asserting that where opportunities for youthful energy exist, no force can impede progress.

Successfully employed 60,244 youths through the police recruitment examination

The Chief Minister highlighted the global recognition of the unity displayed during the Prayagraj Kumbh, where respect for diverse faiths contributed to prosperity. He also announced that just before Holi, the government has successfully employed 60,244 youths through the police recruitment examination, including 12 thousand women, a significant increase from the mere ten thousand women employed in the police prior to 2017. In the recent recruitment of 1.56 lakh positions, the UP government has appointed 25 thousand women, committing to allocate 20 percent of jobs to women in all future recruitments.

The UP government, operating under a dual-engine model, has provided government jobs to 7.5 lakh youths. Initiatives such as ODOP, Vishwakarma Shram Samman, and the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan have been launched to encourage youth engagement in self-employment.

The Chief Minister also announced the approval for the construction of bypasses in Gonda and Bahraich, asserting that youths striving for employment will transition into entrepreneurship, thereby positioning Uttar Pradesh as a leading economic state through their innovative efforts.
