Now RTO takes a big decision regarding the driving license. RTO to provide 58 driving licenses in Noida, Ghaziabad, and other cities of western UP. In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, people will no longer have to make rounds of RTO to get their DL made and renewed. This facility has been provided by the Transport Department for the people of Ghaziabad as well as Noida, Hapur, and Bulandshahr.
With this, the Transport Department has made 58 services online. These services have now been available since 27 November. However, some people are still not aware of it. Earlier, one had to go to RTO again and again for small tasks. But now people’s time is being saved by making these services available online.
Providing services in a faceless manner
These services are now being provided in a contactless and faceless manner. The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had approved Aadhaar verification for this. Earlier, only 9 services could be made faceless in the state. But three months ago, in a review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the target was set to make all 58 services online. The work has now been completed, and the facility has been implemented in the districts of Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Hapur, and Bulandshahr.
How to Apply
1. To apply online, visit the official website of the Transport Department: https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/.
2. Then go to the “Online services” section and click on vehicle-related services.
3. From there, select your state and the nearest RTO.
4. You can then apply for various services such as vehicle registration, obtaining a registration certificate, obtaining a duplicate fitness certificate, changing your address in DL, etc.
5. The application will have to be uploaded for the application, and after depositing the fee, the application will be completed.
6. You will receive the documents within the stipulated time limit.
Public Convenience
Now that most of the RTO services will be faceless. So the common people will not have to make rounds of the RTO. They can do all the work related to their RTO online while sitting at home. Along with this, the new software of the Transport Department will also have options related to banks. With this, people will be able to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) online. With this, he will be able to get an NOC from the concerned bank on repayment of the loan.
