- The account (SSY) can be opened from the time of the daughter’s birth up to the age of 10 years.
- A birth certificate of the daughter and KYC documents of the guardian are required.
- PAN and Aadhaar card of the guardian are mandatory for account opening.
- Only one account is permitted per girl, and a maximum of two accounts can be opened per family.
Required Documents to Open the Account
To open a Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSY), the following are required:

- Guardian’s KYC documents, including PAN and Aadhaar card.

Withdrawal Rules
- Once your daughter turns 18, you can withdraw up to 50% of the deposit for her education or marriage.
- The total deposited amount (SSY) and interest can be withdrawn when she turns 21.
