What is the Shaadi Anudan Yojana?
The marriage grant scheme run by the Uttar Pradesh government is a scheme under which poor people can apply for financial assistance for the marriage of their daughters. Under this scheme, the government gives financial assistance of 51000 to poor families at the time of marriage of the daughter.
This money is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account. Under this scheme, the beneficiary can apply under the scheme within 90 days of the daughter’s marriage.
Who can apply?
- Only a resident of Uttar Pradesh can apply under the Shaadi Anudan Yojana run by the Uttar Pradesh government.
- The age of the girl should be over 18 years and the age of the boy should be over 21 years.
- Families whose annual income is less than 40080 can apply under this scheme.
- The annual income of people living in urban areas should be less than 56460.
- Under this scheme, a family can apply for only two daughters.
What documents will be required?
Candidates applying under the Shaadi Anudan Yojana will have to submit certain required documents. These required documents include Aadhaar card of girl, boy and parents, caste certificate, income certificate, residence certificate, copy of bank passbook, mobile number, passport size photograph marriage card of the girl, boy and parents.
