Kisan Samman Nidhi: Significant updates have emerged for farmers enrolled in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Those anticipating the 20th installment of the scheme should finalize their preparations, as this payment is scheduled for release in June. The central government has announced that the 20th installment under the PM Kisan Yojana will be credited to farmers’ bank accounts in June 2025.

The government provides financial support to farmers in the form of Rs 2000 installments every four months. Launched in 2019, this initiative aims to assist the country’s small and marginal farmers financially. Eligible farmers receive a total of Rs 6000 annually, distributed across three installments of Rs 2000 each. To qualify for the 20th installment, the government has mandated the completion of e-KYC. Farmers who have not completed their e-KYC will not receive the funds for the upcoming installment.

Farmers can accomplish their e-KYC through the following steps:

1. Access the PM Kisan Portal and input your Aadhaar card and bank account information.

2. Follow the OTP-based e-KYC procedure on the portal.

This process is straightforward, and it is advisable to complete it promptly to ensure timely receipt of the 20th installment.

Which farmers will be ineligible for the 20th installment?

1. Incomplete e-KYC: Farmers who have not finalized their e-KYC will not receive the installment funds.

2. Unfinished land verification: Farmers whose land verification is still pending may also miss out on this installment’s benefits.

3. Application errors: Any mistakes made during the application process will disqualify a farmer from receiving the installment.

4. Submission of incorrect documents: Farmers who provided incorrect documentation during their application will not be eligible for the 20th installment funds.
