Special FD scheme: Banks and NBFCs offer special FD schemes to attract customers. These schemes offer higher returns in a shorter period of time compared to regular fixed deposits. Many government and private banks are included in this list. Bank of Baroda is also running a special FD scheme for customers. On which more than 7% interest is being given.
The name of this scheme is BOB Utsav Deposit Scheme. The interest rate is different for general citizens and senior citizens. The bank is giving higher returns to senior citizens. It offers both callable and non-callable options. The maximum investment limit is Rs 3 crore. Individual and joint account holders can avail this benefit. It is also available online. Customers can open FD by visiting the nearest branch of the bank. Interest rates keep changing. Therefore, it is advisable to visit the official website or bank branch before investing.
How much return are you getting?
Under the FD scheme, general citizens are getting 7.30% interest on a tenure of 400 days. Senior citizens are getting 7.80% and super senior citizens are getting 7.90% interest. On choosing the option of non-callable FD, general citizens are getting 7.35%, senior citizens are getting 7.85% and super senior citizens are getting 7.95% interest. 400 days to 2 years- 7%
2 years to 3 years- 7.15%
More than 3 years and up to 5 years- 6.80%
Above 5 years and upto 10 years- 6.50%
