Through this program, qualified individuals who do not own land will receive 100 square yard plots in rural areas.

CM Rural Housing Scheme
Ganesan said that the objective of the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme is to provide plots to low-income families in the state who do not have their own house. The objective of this scheme is to benefit these families, so that they can build their own house. The successful implementation of the scheme will improve the standard of living of poor families, so that they will be able to live a safe and dignified life in their homes. In the meeting, he directed the officers to expedite all the procedures related to the scheme so that the eligible people could get its benefits at the earliest. Last week, the chief minister held a meeting with senior officials and directed that all necessary facilities like pucca roads, electricity, clean drinking water, street lights, parks and open green spaces should be ensured in the areas where plots of 100 square yards would be allotted.
