Tata Motors’ much-awaited Tata Harrier EV has recently been spotted during testing without camouflage. This will be the company’s new flagship electric SUV, which was recently introduced at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The design of the Harrier EV looks similar to the Harrier diesel variant, but some major changes make it different. It has a grille-less front, newly designed wheels and special EV badging. Tata will launch this car in silver and white stealth color scheme, which will make it look more stylish than before.
Tata Harrier EV Range and Technology
The Harrier EV is designed to offer a single charge range of up to 500km, which will help it compete with cars like the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti e-Vitara. AWD (All-Wheel Drive) technology will also be used in this SUV, making it Tata’s first AWD electric SUV. This feature will help in giving better performance on off-roading and bad roads.
Tata Harrier EV Summon Me’ Mode
Tata is focusing on new and advanced technology in its electric cars. Harrier EV will have a “Summon Me” mode, which will give the car the ability to drive itself without a driver. This means that by just pressing a button, the car will come towards you on its own. This feature is already present in Tesla and other high-end EVs and now Tata is introducing it for Indian customers.
Tata Harrier EV Expected Price
The expected price of this electric SUV can be up to Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom). This SUV will directly compete with Kia Carens EV, Maruti e-Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Creta EV. If Harrier EV performs well in the Indian market, then Tata can also launch Safari EV after this.
