Book your tickets right away!

  • First of all, you have to log in to the IRCTC website.
  • After this, you have to enter the IRCTC user ID and password.
  • Create an account if you don’t already have one.
    Now go to the Book Ticket option and book “Tatkal.”
  • Fill in the details, such as destination, date of journey, train number, and class. Then select the birth preference.
  • After this, the review will be sent to the payment page.
  • After making the payment, you will get the option to download the e-ticket.

Note: Tatkal booking is open till 10 am for booking AC class tickets and 11 am for non-AC classes. So book your tickets well in advance.

Book your tickets through the app.

  • First, download the IRCTC app from the Google Play Store.
    Then login and select the ‘Instant Booking’ option.
  • Now you have to choose the date of the train and travel.
    After this, you have to fill in the details of the passenger, then choose the berth and class type.
  • After that, read the reviews and make a payment. After this, the option to download e-tickets will be available.
