Almost everyone has an Aadhaar card because it is a very important document. If you have not yet updated your 10-year-old Aadhaar, then get it done soon. The Aadhaar card is issued to the citizens of India by the Unique Identification Authority of India, i.e., UIDAI. This Aadhaar card is useful for you; you have to get a SIM card or join a government scheme.

Apart from this, from opening an account in the bank to taking subsidy under the scheme, etc. You need an Aadhaar card for many other such things, but have you updated your Aadhaar card? If your Aadhaar card is 10 years old, then under the rules you will have to update your Aadhaar card. Currently, this work is being done for free through the official website, the last date of which is 14 December 2024. So get this work done soon.

 

Here’s how you can update your Aadhaar:

If you have not yet updated your Aadhaar card, then for this you have to go to the official website of UIDAI, uidai.gov.in/en.

 

Here you will get the option of ‘Update Aadhaar’ in which you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.

Now an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.

 

You have to enter this OTP here and then login.

Then you have to choose the option to update the document.

Now you have to get your documents verified.

 

 

 

 

Now you have to update the scanned copy of your identity card and address proof by coming down.

Then you have to click on the submit button.

After this, your form will be submitted, and you will get a request number from which you will be able to check the status of your Aadhaar update.
