Haryana Ladli Yojana
In Haryana, the birth rate of girls has traditionally been lower than that of boys. To encourage the birth of daughters, the Haryana Ladli Yojana was launched. Under this scheme, the state government provides financial assistance of ₹5,000 to the daughters of Haryana. The scheme applies to girls born after August 30, 2005. Daughters born before this date will not be eligible for this scheme.
Annual Financial Assistance of ₹5,000
The financial help of ₹5,000 will be provided through the Kisan Vikas Patra. Parents with two daughters will receive this annual financial assistance after their second daughter turns five, provided the family’s annual income does not exceed ₹2 lakh. The financial assistance will continue until the daughter turns 18.
