This big secret was revealed in RBI’s annual report. According to RBI, this amount has increased to Rs 78213.
This money is deposited as savings in FD and bank accounts. If your grandfather’s, relative’s, or someone else’s money is lying in the bank, you can quickly withdraw it. If someone suddenly dies, the money is unknown due to a lack of information in the bank. Now, you can get information about the amount deposited in banks through RBI. This information will be available through RBI’s UDGAM portal so that there will be no problem.

You can quickly check the deposited unclaimed amount by going to RBI’s portal. After registering on RBI’s UDGAM portal, you can check the unclaimed amount by logging in. To claim, you can go to the concerned bank. If someone in the family has an unclaimed amount, it can be checked easily.
The banks related to unclaimed deposits review the accounts annually. This gathers information about which bank accounts have not had any transactions. If there is no transaction in a bank account for ten years, then that account is considered unclaimed. After this, the bank starts trying to find the heir of the amount. You can easily find out if any older adult in your family has an unclaimed amount in the bank.

After this, enter your mobile number, password, and captcha code.
Then, you will get OTP using the registered mobile number.
After this, it is necessary to enter the account holder’s name in the step.
Then, you will need to select the bank.
Then, one PAN, Voter ID, and Driving License number are required.
Then, you will have to click on the search button.
After this, if there is an unclaimed amount, you will quickly see it.
