UP 8th Pay Commission News: On the lines of the central government, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has begun the process of forming the Eighth Pay Commission for its employees and pensioners. The government has requested suggestions from various employee organizations, which must be submitted by February 14. Afterwards, the government will send these suggestions to the central government. The Modi government at the centre has set up the Eighth Pay Commission to increase the salaries of central employees and pensioners. According to reports, based on the commission’s recommendations, the government may implement the eighth pay scale from January 2026. Under the 8th Pay Commission, the salaries of central employees could increase based on a fitment factor of 2.86, as suggested by various employee organizations. If the government agrees, the minimum wage is expected to rise from Rs 18,000 to Rs 34,560.

12 Lakh Employees and Pensioners in UP to Benefit
