Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that more than 3 lakh young entrepreneurs have been registered so far under the ‘Yuva Udyam Vikas Abhiyan’ and loans of more than 32 thousand youth have been approved.

CM Adityanath addressed the youth of all the districts of Ayodhya division during the loan distribution program under the Yuva Udyam Vikas Abhiyan. Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyam Vikas Abhiyan

Under the Chief Minister Yuva Udyam Yojana Vikas Abhiyan (CM-Yuva) in UP, the government is planning to give interest-free loan to the beneficiary to start a business up to Rs 5 lakh. There are many features attached to it.

  • Providing self-employment opportunities to 1 lakh youth per year and a total of 10 lakh youth in 10 years.
  • Age between 21 to 40 years, minimum educational qualification 8th pass, and skill training certificate from a recognized institute.
  • 100% interest-free and guarantee-free loan is available for industries/service projects up to Rs 5 lakh.
  • A 10% margin money grant is also given on the project cost.

Know who can apply

  1. The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 40 years.
  2. Under educational qualification, the applicant should be at least an 8th pass or equivalent.
  3. Skill-related certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognized institute or university.
  4. The applicant should not be getting the benefit of any other central or state government scheme.
  5. After fulfilling the above conditions, the applicant can apply for a loan under this scheme on the UP government website (https://cmyuva.iid.org.in/home) with the required documents.

Know how many youths got the benefit

He said that soon after the launch of the portal, the scheme got support from the youth of Uttar Pradesh. So far more than three lakh registrations have been done, out of which the forms of more than one lakh 27 thousand youth have been sent to the banks after screening. In this, bank loans of more than 32 thousand youth have been approved.
