Big update on UPI

This month UPI will be closed for two days and people will not be able to use UPI. HDFC Bank has informed its customers about this. But not all banks. If you have a account in HDFC Bank then you should know about it. Because HDFC Bank issues special statement about UPI system.

 

Actually HDFC Bank has told its customers that they will not be able to use the bank’s UPI service for two days in November. HDFC Bank’s UPI service will be closed for two days in November due to some important system maintenance. Customers using HDFC Bank’s UPI service will not be able to send or receive money through UPI on November 5 and November 23.

 

When will the UPI service be closed?

 

HDFC Bank said that the UPI services of the bank will be closed for 2 hours from 12.00 am to 02.00 am on November 5 and again for 3 hours from 12.00 am to 03.00 am on November 23. The bank has said that during this period, no financial and non-financial UPI transactions will be allowed on HDFC Bank’s current and savings accounts as well as RuPay cards. Apart from this, shopkeepers who take payment from HDFC Bank’s UPI service will also not be able to take payment during this period.

UPI account linked to HDFC Bank account will not work

If you run UPI from your HDFC Bank account, you will not be able to send or receive money through UPI like HDFC Bank mobile app, Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, Mobikwik. Overall, no UPI transactions will be allowed during this period, which is linked to HDFC Bank.
