According to U Subba Rao, General Manager, Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai, the first sleeper train of Vande Bharat is unlikely to leave the Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) plant in Bengaluru till September 20.

What will be special in Vande Bharat Sleeper
According to sources, many facilities like stainless steel car body, crash-worthy passenger protection, GFRP interior panels, aerodynamic design, modular pantry, fire safety compliance (EN 45545), facilities for disabled passengers, automatic doors will be seen.
In Vande Bharat Sleeper, Indian Railways is preparing to provide its passengers a world-class travel experience on overnight journey similar to Nightjet sleeper trains in Europe.
