The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced an economical package for devotees intending to travel to Vaishno Devi at the year’s end, specifically tailored for the middle class. This package features a ride by AC at only Rs 1700 daily, accommodations in five-star hotels, and breakfast included. The train is set to leave Delhi on December 24.
IRCTC has introduced this unique package to explore Jammu and Kashmir along with Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. The complete package will consist of four days and three nights. With this package, you can effectively utilize the Christmas Day holiday. Since the train will depart on the night of the 24th and Christmas is on December 25th. The trip from Delhi to Jammu will start from the capital. In other words, you just need to choose the IRCTC package, and then you won’t have to worry about commuting, halting, or local transport.
Economic Bundle
Accommodations will be made for a stay in a five-star or comparable hotel in Katra. However, the cost for staying here will certainly differ. By paying Rs 6795, three individuals can stay in one room. This will be the least expensive option, requiring a payment of approximately 1700 rupees each day. Simultaneously, if you wish to accommodate two individuals in the room, you need to pay Rs 7855.
If you prefer not to have someone else share the room with you, you must pay Rs 10395, and you can have the room to yourself. Certainly! If you have a child aged between five to 11 years and are seeking a bed for them, the total cost will be Rs 6160. However, if you prefer not to get a bed, the additional cost will be Rs 5145. This allows you to include children in the adventure.
Be aware of the complete itinerary of the trip
The train is scheduled to leave New Delhi at 8:40 pm on December 24 and arrive in Jammu at 5 am the following morning. Vehicles will be parked here for you; they will arrive at Katra. From this point, you will obtain a travel slip at Saraswati Bhavan. Next, you will arrive at the hotel and complete the check-in process. Following breakfast, the vehicles will take you to Banganga. From this point, you will ascend the mountain on foot and return to the hotel by nightfall. We’ll have our dinner here and relax at night. The following day at 12 PM, we will leave from this place.
Prior to this, you may also go to Katra. You will travel to Jammu by bus. In Jammu, you can explore the sights such as Kand Kandoli, Raghurajji Temple, and Bag Bahu Garden. In the evening, you will arrive at Jammu station via bus. From this point, they will board the Rajdhani at 9:45 pm and arrive back in Delhi at 5:55 am on the fourth day.
