Hey, you know how in cricket matches, we see so many sixes flying around? But some shots, man, they just stick in your head, right? Like, you can never forget them. Something like that happened in a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) match. One of their batters, bam! Hit a powerful shot, the ball went straight into a car parked near the boundary. Seriously, the car’s glass got totally smashed! It was kinda like when we were kids playing gali cricket, hitting shots occasionally, and sometimes, oops, someone’s window would break. Good old days, eh?
So, you wanna know more about this awesome shot?
In the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024, there was this match, RCB versus UP Warriorz. And guess what? RCB totally rocked it and won by 23 runs. But the thing everyone’s talking about is RCB’s batting, especially this one player, Ellyse Perry. She was on fire! She smashed four sixes in her innings. And one of those sixes? Dude, it was something else. It was so massive, it flew out of the ground and cracked the windshield of a car parked outside the boundary. Can you believe it?
Video went crazy viral, yaar!
This video, right, it went super viral on social media. Everyone was sharing it! You can see Perry hitting this shot on the on-side, and boom, the ball just crashes into the car’s glass. Glass shatters, ball goes inside the car, and Perry’s reaction? Priceless! She was like, “Oops, did I do that?”

This amazing six happened in the 19th over of the RCB innings. Deepti Sharma was bowling, and Perry just whacked it! Perry scored 58 runs in just 37 balls, with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Because of her power hitting, RCB put up a huge score of 198 for 3. She also had a great partnership with Smriti Mandhana for 95 runs for the second wicket and then another 42 runs with Richa Ghosh for the third wicket. Solid batting, man!
RCB wins it, Boss!
UP Warriorz won the toss and decided to bowl first. RCB batted first and scored 198 for 3 in 20 overs. Captain Smriti Mandhana also played brilliantly and scored 80 runs off 50 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes. Then, when UP Warriorz came to bat, chasing such a big score, they could only manage 175 for 8 in 20 overs. So, RCB won the match by 23 runs. Good game, good game!
