The government has issued the Ayushman Bharat Health Account Card, i.e., the ABHA card. The ABHA card is in a way your digital medical record. It records all the information related to your health. That is, if you look at it in a way, you can call it your digital medical file. When you go somewhere to get your treatment, you have to carry your medical file with you. But if you have an aura card, you don’t need a file. The ABHA card records information about your chronic diseases.

Who can make the ABHA card?

The government has set the eligibility for the Ayushman card; only selected people are issued Ayushman cards. But no such rule has been made for the aura card. Any Indian citizen can apply for an ABHA card.

 

How do I make an ABHA card?

 

1. On an Android mobile device, computer, or laptop, you can make your ABHA card sit at home. You have to write abha.abdm.gov.in in Google.

 

2. On its home page, click on the Create Aura number. There will be two options (Aadhaar card or driving license). After this, the Aadhaar card will have to be verified.

 

3. On clicking on Aadhaar, you will have to fill in your Aadhaar card number. After this, you have to click on I Agree, then fill in the captcha.

 

4. After this, you have to click on Next.

 

5. The Aadhaar number and mobile number have to be filled in and then verified. Your card will be ready, which you can also take as a PDF and print.
