Once a child turns five, the blue Aadhaar card is no longer valid. At that point, a new Aadhaar card needs to be created, which will be valid until the child is 15. After they turn 15, they’ll need to get another new Aadhaar card that includes biometric information.
As for the documents needed, parents can apply for a blue Aadhaar card using their child’s school ID. If the child is too young to be in school, you can use their birth certificate or the discharge slip from the hospital where they were born.
To get the blue Aadhaar card, you’ll need to visit an enrollment center with your child. Don’t forget to bring all the necessary documents! At the enrollment office, you’ll fill out the application form with the required paperwork. Keep in mind that the blue Aadhaar card will be linked to your Aadhaar card, so make sure to bring that along too. The process is pretty straightforward since the blue card doesn’t require any biometric data—just a photo of your child will be taken. After that, you’re all set!
When you fill the enrollment form for the blue Aadhaar card, you will also have to give a permanent mobile number there, the Aadhaar card will be created only by the OTP on this mobile number.
Blue Aadhaar card can be made within 60 days
