The Modi government is constantly working on doubling the income of farmers. For this, many schemes have been started by the government for the farmers. Today we are going to tell about that scheme which is very helpful for farmers. Kisan Credit Card or KCC is one of the most popular schemes among farmers. The KCC scheme was introduced in 1998 with the aim of simplifying the loan process for farmers. In this, loans are given to farmers for agricultural purposes. In this scheme, loans are provided to farmers at a very affordable interest rate of 4%.

Age Limit

The minimum age for the applicant in this scheme is 18 years and there is no maximum age limit. A maximum loan of up to Rs 3 lakh can be taken in this scheme. The maximum loan tenure is 5 years. The validity of the Kisan Credit Card is also 5 years.

Earlier, a KCC loan required a guarantee for loans above Rs 1.60 lakh. Recently, the RBI has increased the guarantee free loan limit to Rs 2 lakh. That is, you will get a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh without any guarantee.

 

How to Apply for KCC Loan?

 

Step 1. Go to the website of the bank from which you want to apply for the Kisan Credit Card Scheme.

Step 2. Here you select the Kisan Credit Card from the list of options.

Step 3. Now clicking on apply will take you to the website application page.

Step 4. Fill the form with the required details and click on submit.

Step 5. Now you will get an application reference number. If you are eligible for the scheme, the bank will contact you in 3 to 4 working days.

 

These documents are necessary

1. Application Form

2. Two passport size photographs

3. ID proof such as driving license / driving license. Aadhar Card / Aadhar Card Voter’s ID Card passport

4. Address proof such as driving license, Aadhaar card

5. Proof of land duly certified by revenue officials

6. Cropping Pattern (Crop Grown)

7. Security documents for loans above Rs 2 lakh.
