Big news for EPFO members. Are you a subscriber of the Employees’ Provident Fund? Is there a mistake in your PF account details? Or do you want to update personal details? Then this news is for you. EPFO has introduced the facility to easily change your details online in the PF account.
Earlier, to change the details in the EPF account, employees had to fill out the joint declaration form given by their employer and submit it to the EPFO office. But now, without any such requirement, you can change your PF account details online very easily. In particular, EPF subscribers can change their 11 personal details online.

male genital organ
Date of Birth
Parent’s Name
relation
Marital Status
Joining Date
Reasons to leave the job
Date of quitting job
nationality
Aadhaar Number.
How to Change EPF Details Online?
1. First, open the official portal of EPFO, epfindia.gov.in.
2. Click on the Services tab that appears on the home page.
3. Scroll down and select the For Employees option.
4. Then click on the Member UAN/Online Services option.
5. Then a new page will open. Enter UAN, password, and captcha details and log in.
6. Then your EPF account page will open.
7. Select the Manage option that appears on the screen.
8. There will be a joint declaration option.
9. There you will have to enter your Member ID and enter the details that you want to update.
10. All the required documents will have to be uploaded and submitted.
11. If your request is approved, the details will reach the owner.
Employers should do this!
After receiving the EPF subscriber’s request, the employer needs to do the following.
The employer will have to register his employer ID on the epfindia.gov.in portal.
Click the Members tab.
There you have to choose the Joint Declaration Change Request option.
The employer can check their records and accept or deny the employee’s request. If the employer accepts the request of the customer, it will reach the EPFO. This way, you can easily change your EPF account details online.
