The Yogi government is taking big decisions to make the youth economically strong on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government. The government’s aim is to provide economic prosperity and social progress to the youth. The government won everyone’s heart by announcing the implementation of the Chief Minister Yuva Udyam Vikas Abhiyan with the aim of providing self-employment to the youth.
On Tuesday, this proposal was given a green signal in the cabinet meeting chaired by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. A statement issued by the government said that the scheme has been launched focusing on the important contribution of the MSMEs sector in the state’s economy.
Along with this, 25 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting. With this, a target has been set to connect one lakh youth to employment by giving a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh annually without interest.
Big information given by the government
After the cabinet meeting ended, big information has been shared by the government through a press conference. Giving information to PTI, Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan said that under this scheme, 10 lakh micro units will be started in 10 years, for which annual financial assistance will be given to one lakh educated and trained youth of the state.
According to the minister, the objective of the scheme is to generate employment in rural and urban areas and to connect the youth of the state with self-employment. In this, youth with minimum qualification of 8th pass can also apply to avail the benefits of the scheme. Not only this, 12th pass candidates will also be given preference.
Youth will get this big benefit
One lakh youth will get interest-free loan assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh every year from the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan. This loan will be given by the micro units. Along with this, it is very important for the applicant to be trained through various government schemes like Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, One District One Product Schemes and the Upgradation Program run by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development.
