There is big news for unemployed youths of India. Congress has unveiled its third promise for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections in 2025, named the Yuva Udaan Yojana. This initiative aims to support unemployed youth by providing them with Rs 8,500 each month during a one-year apprenticeship. The announcement was made by Sachin Pilot, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a prominent party figure.
During the announcement, Pilot highlighted that today marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, making it a fitting occasion to present this commitment to the youth of Delhi. He criticized both the BJP and AAP for failing to engage with the concerns of young people, noting that youth across the nation, including those in Delhi, are facing significant challenges. He pointed out that recent years have been dominated by a cycle of accusations between the Delhi and central governments.
So far, Congress has made two other promises for the Delhi elections. The first is the Pyari Didi Yojana, which pledges Rs 2,500 monthly to every woman, while the second, the Jeevan Raksha Yojana, offers health insurance coverage of Rs 25 lakh to all residents of Delhi.
To date, Congress has announced 48 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections, with candidates for 22 seats still pending. The voting for the 70 assembly seats is scheduled for February 5, and the results will be revealed on February 8.
