Know whether your mobile number is linked or not
First of all go to the official site of UIDAI, here click on Aadhaar Services in the ‘My Aadhaar’ section.
Here you will get the option of verified mobile number and email ID.
Now enter your Aadhaar and mobile number which you think can be linked. After this submit it.
You will have a notification pop-up if the mobile number is linked. It will be written on it that this number is already linked with Aadhaar.
If the same is submitted then it means the mobile number is not linked.
To check your email ID, you will have to follow the same method.
To update your Aadhaar, you have to follow some rules
You will have to go to the nearest Aadhaar center and fill out a form. In that, you will have to fill in your Aadhaar information and also enter your new mobile number which you want to update. Then you have to give that form to the Aadhaar operator.
The Aadhaar operator will update your new mobile number after verifying the information given by you. In this process, you have to pay only Rs 50. Once your mobile number is updated, you can easily avail all the other facilities sitting at home.
