Bank Holidays in July: The month of July has started. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issues a list of how many days the banks will be open and how many days they will be closed every month. Banks will remain closed for 12 days in July.

These include Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays. This month banks will remain closed on account of Muharram. These holidays will not be in all banks, but in different states there will be holidays according to local festivals and celebrations. So know when and where the banks will remain closed in July.

3 July: Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on Wednesday due to Behdienkhlam.

13 July: All banks will remain closed on Saturday.

 

14 July: Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.

 

16 July: Uttarakhand will remain closed due to folk festival Harela.

 

17 July: Banks will remain closed in West Bengal, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Tripura, Meghalaya and Mizoram due to Muharram, Ashura, U Tirot Sing Day.

 

21 July: Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.

 

27 July: There will be a weekend holiday on Saturday.

28 July: There will be a Sunday holiday in banks across the country.

 

Many tasks can be done online

If you go to the bank, then before that check whether the banks are open or closed in your state on that day. Although now many bank related works are done online, but for some tasks there is a need to go to the bank. This may be money transfer , cash withdrawal etc.
