It has been made mandatory for all the beneficiaries of the entire family, whose name is in the ration card, to go to the nearest ration dealer and get KYC done through Aadhar card in the e-pass machine.
Fear of name being removed from ration card
Many states have also issued strict instructions in this regard that those who do not get KYC done will not be able to avail the benefits of food grains provided through their ration card. Also, if the KYC of any beneficiary (family member) associated with the ration card is not done, then his name will be removed from the ration card.
