BPL Ration Card: It has now been made mandatory for ration card holders to get e-KYC done for their ration cards. In this regard, the state’s Food Commissioner Saurabh Babu has issued orders to the District Magistrate and District Supply Officer and the ration dealer will have to complete the e-KYC work by June 25 at any cost.

The name of the deceased registered in the ration card will also be removed with e-KYC, so that the ration dealer will not be able to commit fraud. The name of the married girl who has gone to her in-laws’ house will also be removed. EKYC will get rid of many flaws.

In this regard, on Saturday at 9 am, 42 ration dealers of the block were given training at Babhani ration shop to do e-KYC. They were given information about doing e-KYC. On this occasion, Supply Inspector Babhani Nirmal Singh, Block Engineer Arvind Kumar and ration dealers Phoolkunwar, Shivchand, Shivpujan, Ayodhya, Ran Bahadur Singh, Ramdev and more than two dozen ration dealers were present.

During this, Supply Inspector Nirmal Singh warned the cheap ration shopkeepers that if any kind of negligence is done in getting e-KYC done, then departmental action will be taken against the concerned persons. He said that no irregularities should be done in food grain allocation.

Take the following steps to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process of BPL (Below Poverty Line) ration card:

1. Prepare the documents:

– Aadhar card

– Proof of address (electricity bill, water bill, etc.)

– Identity card (PAN card, voter ID, etc.)

– Income certificate

– Passport size photo

2. Go to the nearest ration office or Common Service Center (CSC):

– There you will get the KYC form which you have to fill.

– Fill all your necessary details in the form like name, address, information of family members, etc.

4. Submit documents:

– You will also need to submit photocopies of your documents along with the form.

– Carry the original documents as well for verification.

5. Biometric verification:

– In some cases, you may also need to undergo biometric verification (fingerprint or eye scanning).
