Furthermore, substantial modifications to the traffic system have been implemented. From February 23 to February 27, various traffic regulations have been established in Deoghar in relation to Shivratri. As per the information provided by Devghar SDO Ravi Kumar, numerous areas have been designated as no-entry zones for large vehicles, including trucks, buses, and tractors, effective from 6 AM on February 23 until 10 PM on February 27. Additionally, several routes have been redirected.
Important things to know about traffic
Vehicles arriving from Dumka will be required to turn left at Hindolvaran and proceed towards Giridih via Tapovan, Charkhi Pahari, Ujala Chowk, Purana Kunda Mor, and Koriasa turn. Similarly, vehicles coming from Godda will follow the same route. Those traveling from Giridih will turn right at Koriasa and head towards Dumka via Purana Kunda Police Station Mode, Ujala Chowk, Charkhi Pahari, Tapovan, and Hindolvaran. Vehicles from Rohini Devipur will proceed towards Jasidih via Rohini Shaheed Park. Additionally, vehicles coming from Tabhaghat Jasidih Chakai heading towards Bhagalpur, Dumka, and Godda will divert towards Mohanpur from Tabhaghat. Vehicles from Sarwa Sarath will turn right at Purana Kunda Police Station mode, continuing via Ujala Chowk, Tapovan, and Hindolavran.
Eighteen no-entry zones have been established throughout the city, prohibiting the entry of heavy vehicles and four-wheelers in these areas. These restrictions will be enforced from 6 AM on February 23 until 10 PM on February 27. Specific locations identified as no-entry zones include Patel Chowk, Jalsar Mode, Bharti Hotel, Hadhadiya Bridge, Shivram Jha Chowk, Hindi Vidyapeeth, Drishniya Mode, Bhurbhur Mode, Bilasi Town, Laxmipur Chowk, Mandir Mode, and Shahid Ashram Road, Meena Bazaar, Tractor Stand, Dhobiya Gali, Tower Chowk, Jhosagarhi etc.
