The Madhya Pradesh government has launched a scheme to provide subsidies on agricultural equipment to support farmers. The main goal of this scheme is to help farmers adopt modern technology, making farming easier and more profitable. The government aims to increase production and improve farmers’ income by promoting advanced agricultural tools. Under this scheme, subsidies are available for tractor-driven and power-driven equipment, including rotavators, power tillers, reapers, mulchers, super seeders, seed drills, threshers, and sprayers.
Earlier, the last date to apply was March 26, 2025, and the selection process was scheduled through a lottery on March 27, 2025. However, for the convenience of farmers, the government has extended the application deadline to April 8, 2025. Now, farmers can apply online until April 8, 2025. After reviewing all applications, farmers will be selected through a lottery on April 9, 2025. The selected farmers will receive agricultural equipment at a subsidized rate.
How Much Subsidy Will Farmers Get on Agricultural Equipment?
Under this scheme, farmers will receive subsidies at different rates based on their category (female, male, caste, and landholding). The subsidy ranges from 40% to 50%. Interested farmers can visit the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan portal to check the subsidy amount for different equipment using the subsidy calculator.
Which Agricultural Equipment Will Get a Subsidy?
Farmers can get subsidies on various tractors and other power-driven equipment. Applications are open from February 27, 2025, to April 8, 2025, and the lottery selection will take place on April 9, 2025.

Eligibility and Conditions
- The farmer must own a tractor in their name.
- The farmer should not have received a subsidy under this scheme in the last five years.
- The subsidy is available only for equipment purchased within the given time frame.
- Required documents must be uploaded online within seven days of application submission.
- If the application is rejected, the farmer cannot apply again for six months.
- Equipment must be purchased only from selected dealers.
- Once the dealer is chosen, it cannot be changed.
- Payment must be made only through bank draft, cheque, or online banking. Cash payments are not accepted.
- A Demand Draft (DD) must be issued from the farmer’s own bank account in favor of the Assistant Agriculture Engineer of the respective district.
- Ineligible farmers will not receive subsidies under this scheme.
Required Documents
After applying, farmers must upload the following documents online:
- Copy of Aadhaar card
- Copy of the first page of the bank passbook
- Caste certificate (for SC/ST farmers)
- Copy of B-1 document
- Electricity connection certificate (for irrigation equipment)
After verification by the District Officer, the purchase approval order will be issued to the farmer.
Process to Purchase Agricultural Equipment
- Apply: Farmers can apply online on the e-Krishi Yantra Anudan portal from February 27 to April 8, 2025.
- Lottery Process: Farmers will be selected through a lottery on April 9, 2025.
- Dealer Selection: The farmer must buy equipment only from the selected dealer.
- Purchase: Equipment must be purchased within 20 days of receiving the purchase approval order.
- Physical Verification: The department will verify the equipment within seven days of supply and document submission by the dealer.
- Grant Receipt: If the verification is successful, the subsidy amount will be granted to the farmer.
