The state government has recently launched a new initiative for outsourcing employees. This initiative will benefit not only the employees but also their family members. In particular, a plan has been introduced to provide a ₹1 lakh grant for the higher education of the daughters of outsourcing employees. In this article, we will share all the details regarding this scheme.

Government’s Main Goal

The government has taken this initiative to promote higher education for girls, encourage those who succeed in medical and administrative exams, and, more importantly, secure the future of outsourcing employees and their families.

Who Will Get This Benefit?

The Uttar Pradesh government plans to set up a new Outsourcing Service Corporation, which will benefit outsourcing employees working in various state departments. Under this plan:

  • If the daughter of an outsourcing employee passes the UPSC main exam or gets an opportunity for higher education, she will receive a ₹1 lakh grant.
  • Financial assistance will be provided to those pursuing a Medical, Engineering, MTech, or BSc.
  • Special approval will be given to students who gain admission to foreign universities.
  • Special arrangements will be made for admission to MBBS and BSc Nursing courses.

Government’s New Reservation System

Until now, only OBC, SC, ST, and economically weaker section students have received government benefits. However, this time, the government is considering reservations for the children of outsourcing employees. There are two possibilities:

They may be included in the existing reservation categories.
A separate reservation system may be introduced for them.

Why Is This Decision Important?

This decision will help thousands of outsourcing employees’ children secure their future. It will also encourage girls to continue higher education. The scheme will be a big opportunity for students aiming for UPSC, medical, and other professional studies.

With this initiative, the Uttar Pradesh government is prioritizing higher education, and more such opportunities may come in the future. Now, everyone is waiting to see when this scheme will be implemented and when the application process will begin.
