The Indian team has made it to the semi-finals by defeating Australia in the T20 World Cup with a brilliant performance.

Team India’s morale was high from the explosive start of captain Rohit Sharma. After Rohit’s explosive batting, the bowlers also did wonders and troubled the Australian team on every front.

However, Travis Head once again raised the heartbeat of the Indian fans, but his fiery innings could not last long. Overall, all the players of the Indian team performed brilliantly, but these five players changed the course of the match.

Explosive Opening by Rohit Sharma

If there was anyone who was the biggest hero in today’s match, it was captain Rohit Sharma. Once Rohit caught the rhythm, then no one could stop him.

Although he could not complete his century, due to his aggressive innings, India was able to cross the 200 mark.

The fearless manner in which Rohit hit shots against Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins also boosted the morale of the other batsmen of the team. Suryakumar Yadav also admitted that Rohit Sharma had prepared a template for him.

Arshdeep Singh took Early Success

Even though India had scored 205 runs, they knew that the Australian team was not weak and the pitch was also conducive for batting.

In such a situation, it was very important that India get early success and the Kangaroo team came under pressure. Arshdeep Singh did this job very well. He made David Warner his victim in the very first over.

Warner wanted to wave the ball in the air, but Suryakumar Yadav took a brilliant catch while diving. Due to Warner’s early dismissal, Australia did not get the start based on which they could have registered a win.

Kuldeep Yadav took Maxwell’s Wicket

Kuldeep Yadav was also an important hero in India’s victory. Kuldeep also bowled amazing in this match and took 2 wickets for just 24 runs in his spell. Both his wickets were most important.

Mitchell Marsh was batting aggressively, but even more important was the wicket of Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell was getting into a rhythm and like the last match, he was taking his team towards victory.

However, like the last match, he failed once again. He wanted to play a big shot by moving forward on Kuldeep Yadav’s ball, but the ball uprooted his stumps. If India had not got Maxwell’s wicket here, the difficulties could have increased.

Jasprit Bumrah’s Incredible Catch

There came a time in the match when Travis Head was standing between India and victory. Here Jasprit Bumrah once again showed why he is called India’s trump card.

Travis Head wanted to play a big shot on Jasprit’s ball, but his shot was not hit properly and the ball flew in the air. Captain Rohit Sharma was standing under the ball and he caught it very cleanly.

Axar Patel’s All-Round Performance

Axar Patel played the role of an all-rounder very well in this match. He not only scored useful runs with the bat but also bowled brilliantly with the ball.

Especially in the 13th over, he put pressure on the Australian batsmen by giving only 3 runs. Apart from this, he also took a brilliant catch, which ended the innings of Australian captain Mitchell Marsh.
