Liquor Price: Liquor has become cheaper… Now clink your glasses, prices will be reduced from July 1

New Delhi: Alcohol addiction is such that when alcohol is not available in a state, the drinkers travel to another state. And this news is for those people who are interested in drinking alcohol. From July 1, alcohol is going to become cheaper in this southern state. The purpose of this decision is to encourage alcoholics in the state to buy alcohol.  A decision has been taken to reduce the price of alcohol in Karnataka. The state government has announced a significant reduction in the prices of liquor brands including beer in the state from July 1.

The Government step toward reducing liquor price

The government has revised the prices of premium liquor in 16 different categories to bring it competitive with the selling price of liquor in neighbouring states. The state government’s draft notification, which will come into effect next month. This has brought down the price of liquor, much to the delight of liquor lovers.

The revised price of a 750 ml bottle of Greta, earlier Rs. 2000. But from July 1, is available between Rs. 1700 and Rs. 1800. Similarly, Rs. 5000 liquor will now cost around Rs. 3600-3700 and Rs. 7100 liquor will cost Rs. 5200, says an Asianet report. The move is expected to make semi-premium and other brands of liquor more affordable locally.
