LPG Gas cylinder: The new prices of LPG cylinders have come into effect from June 1, 2024. However, this time also the oil marketing companies have cut the prices of 19 kg LPG cylinders. After the latest changes made by the oil marketing companies, from June 1, the 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 69.50 in Delhi, Rs 72 in Kolkata, Rs 69.50 in Mumbai and Rs 70.50 in Chennai.
Prices reduced for the third consecutive month
This is the third consecutive month when the prices of commercial gas cylinders have been cut. Earlier, the beginning of April and May brought relief news and the oil marketing companies had cut the prices of LPG cylinders by up to Rs 20 for the second consecutive month (LPG Cylinder Price Cut). The new prices of the cylinder have been updated on the IOCL website, which are applicable from June 1, 2024
If you look at this, the commercial gas cylinder in Delhi (Delhi LPG Price) will now be available for Rs 1676, down from Rs 1745.50. Apart from this, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available in Kolkata for Rs 1787 instead of Rs 1859. Commercial LPG cylinder was being sold in Mumbai for Rs 1698.50, which has now been reduced to Rs 1629. At the same time, the price of the cylinder sold for Rs 1911 in Chennai has come down to Rs 1840.50.
No change in the price of domestic cylinder again
It is worth noting that commercial gas cylinders are used for commercial use in hotels or restaurants. In such a situation, eating and drinking outside can become cheaper due to the reduction in its price. On the other hand, no change has been made in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders used in domestic kitchens this time too.
According to the IOCL website, their prices remain unchanged. Its price in the capital Delhi remains Rs 803 and Rs 603 for Ujjwala beneficiaries. Domestic cylinders are available in Kolkata for Rs 829, in Mumbai for Rs 802.50 and in Chennai for Rs 818.50 as before. Let us tell you that the central government, giving a big relief on Women’s Day, gave the gift of a reduction of up to Rs 100 in the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinders.
