Many big announcements were made for women

The Mahayuti government of Maharashtra has announced the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana. Under this scheme, Rs. 1500 per month will be given by the government to financially weak women. Along with this, women will get three LPG gas cylinders free of charge from the government for up to one year.

The Maharashtra government has announced financial assistance for the higher education of girls from financially weak families. Apart from this, a provision of Rs 2 lakh crore has been made for 2 lakh girls.

Big announcements made for farmers

Finance Minister Ajit Pawar has given a big relief to the farmers in the budget. It has been announced to waive off the electricity bill of 46 lakh 6 thousand farmers in Maharashtra. Along with this, financial assistance of up to Rs 25 lakhs will be given to the family of the person who died in the attack by wild animals.

Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has announced a bonus of Rs 5,000 per hectare to all the farmers for cotton and soybean crops. Milk-producing farmers will also get a bonus of Rs 5 per liter. Apart from this, 43 lakh farmers will be given solar agricultural pumps, and they will be able to get free electricity for agricultural pumps.

Petrol and diesel rates will decrease

Ajit Pawar said that the ‘tax on diesel for the Mumbai region will be reduced from 24 percent to 21 percent. This will reduce the price of diesel by Rs 2 per liter. Apart from this, the tax on petrol in the Mumbai region will be reduced from 26 percent to 25 percent. This will reduce the price of petrol by 65 paise per litre.
