Monsoon Big Update: According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has reached Kerala and is moving towards most parts of Northeast India today.
Amid the possibility of rain in the southern parts of the country, the southwest monsoon reached the coast of Kerala on Thursday.

Relief from heat is expected in 2-3 days in northwestern states

The IMD said that the heat wave warning for Thursday has been changed from ‘Red Alert’ to ‘Orange Alert’. It is estimated that the temperature will decrease by 2 degrees to 3 degrees Celsius.
Mungeshpur recorded 52.9 degrees Celsius compared to other stations. This may be due to an error in the sensor or local factor.
