For the last four days, the monsoon has been stuck in the same place and the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of it moving forward in the next four-five days. This means that the monsoon may still be delayed.

Monsoon will knock late in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is coming from the Arabian Sea and has covered most parts of Maharashtra.

The monsoon had reached the north-eastern states ahead of time from the Bay of Bengal, but since then it has been active only there and is unable to move forward.

The result of this is that the monsoon has not yet reached Odisha, Jharkhand, most parts of West Bengal and Bihar etc. Monsoon is also getting delayed in these states.

Hope to get relief in the next few days

However, the Meteorological Department says that the monsoon is likely to become active in the next four to five days. Monsoon may become active in some parts of West Bengal and Bihar.

The department has not said anything about when the monsoon will arrive in Uttar Pradesh. The normal date of arrival of monsoon in Varanasi is June 20. But this time it seems that it may be delayed.

Heat wave likely to continue in North India

The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of heat waves continuing in North India. The department said that the current phase of the heat wave may continue for the next 4-5 days.

The department said that a trend of increase in day as well as night temperatures has been observed in the northwestern states, which may continue for the next few days.

Severe heat in UP for the next two days

There is going to be severe heat and scorching in UP for the next two days. However, given the recent movement in the Bay of Bengal, it is expected that the monsoon may arrive on time in Uttar Pradesh.

But before that, on June 15 and 16, severe heat is likely in most parts of the state, and nights are also expected to be hot.

When will the monsoon come to Bihar

There is news of relief for the people of Bihar. Monsoon is expected to arrive in the state on 17-18 June. Favorable conditions are being created for the spread of monsoon in the state.

In some places, the spread of westerly winds has reduced and the easterly winds have started showing their strength.

Due to this, people are facing humid heat. Strong winds in the evening are giving some relief. This weather is a sign of the arrival of monsoon.
