New rule for Driving license.

Earlier, where the driving license test was done only in the RTO office, now you can take the test at any nearby test centre as per your convenience. Many private companies will run these test centres and they will be recognized by the government.

If you are caught driving without a license, then you will now get even more severe punishment. You will also have to pay a fine of up to Rs 2,000 for this.

If a minor is caught driving, then his parents will have to pay the fine. Also, you will have to pay Rs 25,000 for this. Not only this, the registration of the vehicle can also be cancelled.

You don’t need to do much paperwork to get a license now. You just have to submit the necessary documents as per your license. The transport department will inform you about this in advance.
