Traffic Rule: Road accidents are on the rise in Noida, an industrial city in Uttar Pradesh that borders Delhi. In response, the Noida Traffic Police is actively implementing new safety measures. Initially, the ‘no helmet, no fuel’ policy was introduced for motorcycle and scooter riders.

Who violate traffic laws will be denied entry to their workplaces

Recently, the Noida Police has introduced an additional regulation stipulating that individuals who violate traffic laws will be denied entry to their workplaces. This new mandate requires two-wheeler operators to wear helmets and car drivers to use seat belts, with compliance being verified by the respective offices. The Noida Traffic Police and the Noida Transport Department have communicated these directives to all businesses, indicating that employees arriving at work without a helmet on a motorcycle or scooter will be barred from entry.

Security personnel at the entrance will have the authority to prevent entry for those driving cars without seat belts. This regulation applies to both government and private sectors. Furthermore, the order specifies that individuals who repeatedly infringe upon traffic laws may face legal consequences.

The helmet requirement extends not only to the motorcycle or scooter operator but also to the passenger. Additionally, passengers in cars must wear seat belts. The use of mobile phones while driving has also been prohibited in Noida. This initiative aims to decrease the incidence of accidents and will be overseen by traffic police officers patrolling various office areas.

All 15 government departments in the district have been instructed

Companies that fail to adhere to this regulation will incur fines. All 15 government departments in the district have been instructed to enforce these rules rigorously.
