Metro train: Continuous efforts are being made to increase metro connectivity in the national capital Delhi and NCR region. In this episode, now a new project is being worked on to make the journey between Noida and Delhi and Faridabad easier.

Preparations are being made to connect the Aqua Line running between Noida-Greater Noida to Tughlakabad in Delhi.

This route will be extended to Faridabad and Palwal. Delhi Metro Rail Authority (DMRC) has also completed the survey work of this route. Metro operation on this route will provide relief from traffic jams in Kalindi Kunj.

This will be the metro route for Delhi-Haryana

DMRC has said that a new corridor is being considered between Sector-142 metro station and Tughlakabad in Delhi from the metro running between Noida-Greater Noida. This 15 km long corridor crossing the Yamuna river is proposed to be built between Sector-142 to Tughlakabad in Delhi, Samaypur Badli to Kundli and Kundli to Sonipat. This route will connect Faridabad and Palwal. Metro is already running between Delhi-Ballabhgarh.

These areas will get direct benefit

The construction of this route will not only benefit the people of Greater Noida, but the people of the sectors situated along the expressway will also get a lot of benefit.

People living in many sectors and villages including Sector-128, 129, 130, 132, 135, 137, 142, 151, 153, Raipur, Bakhtawarpur, Chhaprauli, Mangaroli, Jhatta Baroli, Garhi Shahdara along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will get the benefit of this. Currently, people have to use Kalindi Kunj Road to go to Faridabad, Palwal. This causes severe traffic jam here.

Work is also going on on these routes

To strengthen metro connectivity in Noida and Greater Noida, NMRC has also agreed on a new route. A new route will be prepared from Sector-38A Botanical Garden to Sector-142 Metro. This route is estimated to be about 11.5 km long.

The work of preparing its detailed project report (DPR) has reached its final stage. According to NMRC, after Sector-142, Botanical Garden will be connected to this metro route via Sector-125, 97, 98 and 91. Apart from this, another route is proposed to run the metro from Sector-51 of Greater Noida to Knowledge Park-5.
