Pm Kisan Update: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Varanasi. Under this installment, Rs 2,000 each has been deposited directly in the bank accounts of 9.3 crore farmers. This is the first installment to be received by the farmers after the Lok Sabha elections.
Here are some important things related to the scheme:
Farmers will get 2 thousand rupees. Under this installment, every beneficiary farmer will get 2 thousand rupees. This amount will be deposited directly into their bank accounts.
PM Modi will meet farmers: PM Modi will address the farmers and also transfer the 17th installment to the accounts of 9.30 crore eligible farmers associated with the scheme.
Agri Sakhis will get a certificate. PM Modi will also issue certificates to more than 30 thousand members of self-help groups trained as Krishi Sakhis.
The Digital Kisan Credit Card (KKC) will be launched. PM Modi will launch the Digital Kisan Credit Card (KKC) from Kashi.
Inspection of products grown by farmers: PM Modi will visit the stall to see the products grown by the farmers and will also meet 21 progressive farmers.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana:
Initiation: The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started in the year 2019.
Benefits: Under this scheme, 6 thousand rupees are transferred to the farmers in three different installments every year.
Eligibility: Earlier, only small and marginal farmers used to get the benefit of the scheme, but later all the farmers were given it.
Installments: The first installment is deposited in the farmers’ account between April and July, the second installment between August and November, and the third installment between December and March.
Registration: To avail themselves of the benefits of the scheme, eligible farmers can register through the Common Service Centre.

Click on the “Beneficiary List” option on the homepage.
Enter your state, district, sub-district, block, and village information here and click on “Get Report.”.
The list of farmers who are to benefit from this scheme will open.
This scheme is a big relief for the farmers in the country. This will help them strengthen their financial situation.
