PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna: Today’s electricity is the biggest problem for all middle and lower-class people. For those people who are suffering from this problem, the prime minister has announced Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna. In this scheme, people will get free electricity for up to 300 units.
How much money required
Central Ministry Anurag Thakur announced the special scheme under the prime minister’s supervision. He said that one crore family house will get the benefit of this scheme. In this scheme, the total expenditure cost is 75021 crore rupees. Except this, He is planning a whole solar village development plan.
Know how this yajna works
PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna is giving people 300 units of free Bijli by installing solar panels on their people’s houses. The government has announced the subsidy plan for solar panel installation. For 1KV panel 30000 rupees subsidy planned and for 2KV panel government announced 60000 rupees subsidy. Finally, for a 3 KV solar panel, they announced 78000 rupees of subsidy.
Important rules to get this scheme
If you want to get this yajna then you have to fulfil some requirements. First of all, you have to be a resident of Indian. You must belong to a middle-class or lower-class family. Before applying you have to get the DISCOM certificate which will be provided by the company after the Net meter installation check up.
If you want to get a subsidy facility you must have the commissioning certificate and upload it on the website. After successful upload, you have to enter your bank details in the application. After verification, you will get the subsidy amount.

First of all, you have to go to official website
After entering the application you have to choose your Electric distribution company and your state.
You have to enter your details in the form such as name, mobile number, gender, age, etc.
To apply you have to use consumer numbers and mobile numbers and then apply this scheme as per norms.
After applying online DISCOM will provide the solar panel subsidy from registered vendors
