It is written in this letter that all the ration card holders of the state can get free e-KYC Aadhaar seeding done through an e-POS machine at any public distribution system shop in the state. It is also told that if he is living in any other state outside the state for his livelihood, he can go to the vendor of the vendor of the public distribution system there and get his e-KYC Aadhaar seeding done.
This facility is not available in these states.
Let us tell you that people living in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Odisha, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal will not be able to avail of this facility. This means that people living in these 12 states or union territories for livelihood will not have e-KYC Aadhaar seeding here.
Why is E-KYC necessary?
The Food and Receipt Department has told e-KYC that this is said so that the names of the members registered on the ration card remain updated. Because in cases of death and marriage, ration card holders do not get the benefit of a free ration. This means that all the people whose names are registered on the ration card will have to complete e-KYC.
