Heavy rain will occur in many districts of Bihar, Meteorological Department issued a red alert

Rain has arrived in Bihar, but there was no significant rainfall in the entire month of June. Monsoon remained active in almost all the districts for 10 days, but the rainfall was very low.

Many areas including Patna received good rainfall on Saturday and people got relief from the heat. But, on Sunday, an orange alert for storm and rain has been issued in 11 districts.

Where will it rain heavily

According to the Meteorological Department report, there is a possibility of heavy rain in West Champaran today i.e. on June 30.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain is expected in many areas of East Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Arwal, Bhabua, Rohtas, Gopalganj, and Aurangabad.

Light rain may occur at one or two places in the remaining districts. There is also a possibility of lightning in many of these areas. There is also a danger of strong storms, thunder, and lightning.

There will be heavy rain in many districts including Patna

On Sunday, there will be heavy rain in Patna along with many districts of the state. This gave relief to the people from the heat, but due to bad weather since morning, an increase in the maximum temperature will be recorded.

On Sunday, there will be rain in 12 districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in some areas of the state on Sunday as well, including Patna.

What kind of alert in which district

An orange alert for rain has been issued at some places in the districts of the southwest part and a yellow alert has been issued in the districts of the north-west, north-central, south-central, and south-east part.

At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain at one or two places in West Champaran. On the other hand, on Saturday, an increase in maximum temperature was recorded in 26 cities and a decrease in 9 cities.

Rain and Waterlogging in Patna

On Sunday, the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 37 degrees. Due to this, people are feeling very hot. But, due to the sudden clouds in the afternoon, people got relief from the scorching sun.

Shortly after this, heavy rain occurred in almost all the areas of the capital. According to the Meteorological Department, 23.4 mm of rain is recorded in the capital.

Many people are seen enjoying the rain on the roofs of houses. At the same time, waterlogging also occurred in many areas of the city.
